We encourage you to be present for the inspection, it allows us to answer any questions you may have regarding issues you may have noticed, not to mention the inevitable ones which will arise during the process.
Please keep in mind, we will not attempt to move furniture or other objects in the home, as it may put either the objects, or the inspector at risk. That being said, we ask that in the interest of a thorough examination anything limiting observation be moved prior to the inspection. Especially objects adjacent to electrical panels, attic access, sumps, crawlspaces, etc.
Properties which are not presently occupied may have systems which have been shut down (possibly winterized). We will not attempt to restart them. Any information which can be obtained from the homeowner about these systems will be helpful.
